Purchased over 20 years ago at an American antique mall. I bought it for my child, but I ended up using dishes with a different character, so I stored this away without using it. Reason for the defect: I don't know when it happened, but there is a small chip. Other than that, although it's unused in my home, it's a vintage item, so there is some fading, minor scratches, and stains that won't come off.
