MARTENS X MM6 maison Margiela The first collaboration between the iconic British footwear and accessories brand "Dr. Martens" and the avant-garde contemporary brand "MM6." It features a fusion of classic silhouettes with designs that create innovative forms. This collection, unveiled at the MM6 Maison Margiela Fall/Winter 2024 show, reconstructs Dr. Martens' four main designs (the iconic 1460 boots, 10-hole 1490 boots, 1461 shoes, and Penton loafers) and creates three hybrid silhouettes with MM6's unique interpretation. The "1460 / 1461 MM6 8-hole boots" are a fusion of the original 1460 8-hole boots and 1461 3-hole shoes. They combine durable Vintage Smooth leather (oxblood color) and soft black Virginia leather, creating a bold contrast in color and texture. Reinforced with a steel toe, they are accented with three Puritan stitches. The MM6 numbering artwork is engraved on the upper part of the boots, and they are finished with an AirWair heel loop and iconic yellow stitching. Selling due to decluttering.
