Although there is no certificate, it is said to be hand-woven indigo dyeing. It is believed to be semi-antique or vintage. It appears to be either Kurume Kasuri, Iyo Kasuri, or Yumihama Kasuri. It is a sturdy fabric with a very nice texture. The reason for the "as is" condition is that some parts, such as the shoulders, have discolored. This is a characteristic of old and vintage fabrics, and it may not be noticeable when worn, but please consider this before purchasing. I have been collecting cotton kimonos, including Kurume Kasuri, but they have become too numerous, so I am letting them go. I have other items for sale as well.
