This is one of the items I received from a British couple I knew when they returned to their home country. I was fond of it because of the charming painting of a stagecoach scene and buildings from that time. The shape of the plate itself is also unique. I believe it was used during tea time. The back is marked "Royal Winton, Grimwades." Grimwade founded the company in 1885, and later his brother joined, hence the plural form. The company changed its name to Royal Winton in 1930. Many of their products seem to be vintage items. This item is also said to be quite old. There is gold trim around the edges, but some areas have faded. As it is an antique, I have listed it as "no noticeable scratches" overall. Please consider this item only if you understand antiques. It is not suitable for those who are overly concerned about details. The width is 23cm and the height is about 2cm.
