This is a tin toy, wind-up maneki-neko (beckoning cat) made by Biriken Shokai. When you wind it up, it makes a whirring sound and starts its adorable movements, opening and closing its eyes and beckoning good fortune with its left paw. The main body is in beautiful condition, but there are some scratches, possibly from the beginning or later on. The box also has some discoloration due to aging. Please check the photos.
