This is a remote control for a Panasonic VTR, model number VEQ1103. The VTR itself has been disposed of, and only the remote control has been stored at home for a long time. As shown in Photo 1, I have confirmed that it powers on with four AAA batteries (batteries are not included in the sale) by pressing the power button (for a scanner) and that infrared light is emitted when each button is pressed (using a camera).
