At that time, the Uchinanchu (Okinawans) were so passionate that the streets were deserted, and there was a game at Koshien Stadium where finger whistles echoed. The excitement and emotion of that time gave birth to "UkamiFeeFee." It was devised as a whistle that anyone could play, for those who couldn't whistle with their fingers. The trigger for MARGO, the inventor of "UkamiFeeFee," to gain attention was in 2023 when she demonstrated the finger whistle on an Okinawan YouTube channel featuring the comedian Jun and others, during a shoot at Hedo Cape. She showed the initial FeeFee she had created 20 years prior, which led to the current product. In June 2024, a patent for "UkamiFeeFee" was also obtained! Now, we are receiving responses from all over Okinawa and throughout the country. We hope that UkamiFeeFee will become a cherished item, a treasure, and a talisman for many people, as a whistle to enjoy in Okinawan Eisa and sports, and as an item to protect oneself during crime prevention and disasters, and it continues to evolve.
