Antique Kimono, Pure Silk This antique kimono is a subdued color, like pink mixed with a hint of milk tea. Both the fabric and color have a gentleness not found in modern kimonos. The ground pattern features large leaf designs, and the pattern includes beautiful chrysanthemums in flight. I inspected the garment and found small stains in two places: on the inside of the right sleeve (photo 7) and around the knee area (photo 8).
