Purchased new over 50 years ago, it appears to be unused or only lightly used, with little sign of wear. The original owner says they don't remember wearing it. The condition includes storage marks, stains, basting threads, an old scent, and buttons on the collar. It has been stored in a kimono chest for many years. The material is unknown, although the original owner thinks it was silk. (In my opinion, the outer fabric feels like rough cotton, and the lining feels smooth.) It's made of two layers of fabric. It seems clean for an old item. The color appears to be either black or navy blue, and would suit autumn or winter. It may be wearable after dry cleaning. Suitable for kimono practice or remaking.
