This is a shallow tray made of Karin (Chinese quince) wood. The actual color is a bit more reddish. The appearance changes depending on the viewing angle. Because it is made from a single piece of wood, there is a slight warp. The wood grain is beautiful. Compared to a typical carved round tray, it is thin and light, making it easy to handle.
