It allows you to enjoy a unique, deep sound, and has many fans. It can be used with many common alto rubber mouthpieces, not just Selmer, so it would be very useful to have one. There are no problems with use, but there are scratches and peeling of the plating typical of vintage items, so please understand this before purchasing.
