Electric fan from Amagasaki Seiko. This was purchased by my late grandfather. Please see photos 10 and 11. The side and inside lid of the wooden box the fan came in have the place name, name, and "June 24, Showa 27" written on them. It is believed to have been purchased on this date. In the photos, the place name and name have been whited out. The fan will be shipped in this wooden box, and the personal information will be obscured by whiting out the name and place name, sanding, etc., so please be aware of this. I didn't know about Amagasaki Seiko (which existed from Showa 13 to Showa 31), so I looked it up. I found an article from the Kobe Shimbun about an old fan I saw at a Showa exhibition, titled "Amako." If you don't know about Amagasaki Seiko, I hope you'll look it up and read the article. Since it's a fan from a company that only lasted 18 years, I thought it might be quite rare, but I really don't know. I have confirmed that it works. Photos 3 and 4 show it running. It also oscillates. It's hard to see in the photos, but it still works. However, since it was purchased 73 years ago, I don't know how long it will last, and I cannot guarantee its safety or provide any financial compensation. Therefore, please consider it as something that may not turn on. There are scratches, dirt, peeling, rust, and signs of deterioration. If you like antiques and old Showa-era items, please consider purchasing it as a display piece or for your collection, rather than for use.
