It was well-used, soft, and produced a beautiful sound. It's a top-quality item. I couldn't confirm the maker's mark, so I've priced it lower. The small drum that came with it was quite old and showed its age. The thickness seems to be about average. Both the "sen-tsuzuri" (thousand-stitch) and "juuroku" (sixteen) are in good condition. There are no tears in the leather. Includes the tuning cords.
