The matte and calm texture is achieved through Wajima Kirimoto's unique "Makiji technique." Natural wood is cloth-covered, primed, and then "Wajima Jino-ko" is used again on the surface, followed by layers of lacquer. This increases the surface hardness, making it resistant to scratches, and less likely to be damaged even with metal spoons. The gradual development of luster and richness of expression over time is also a beautiful feature. The small size is recommended for cups or children's tableware. The large/medium/small sizes nest together, making them easy to store compactly. The "Kofuku Bowl," which can be used without hesitation in everyday meals, is a vessel that brings small blessings.
