This is a handmade tunic/dress made from remade kimono fabric. I was told it's Oshima Tsumugi silk. The fabric is neither too thick nor too thin, and has a smooth, soft feel. It seems to be wrinkle-resistant. It's gathered and switched at the bust line. I'm not an expert on kimonos. I use vintage fabric. I wash and iron the fabric before finishing. Because it's vintage fabric, there may be stains, holes, and damage, and I try not to use those parts as much as possible. I try to note any flaws I find, but it's not perfect.
