This is a plate with a leaf pattern, made by the renowned Nakazato Taroemon kiln, a representative of Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. I found and purchased it at a department store's ceramics section way back in the 1980s. At that time, I was starting to appreciate the beauty of ceramics, and I wanted something a little more refined than the everyday, almost "general goods" ceramics I had at home. Initially, I started with kiln-made pieces, and after that, it was a matter of my own taste and what my wallet could handle, I suppose? It's a slightly old item, but I've hardly used it, so I'm confident that even discerning customers on Mercari will be very satisfied. The dimensions of the piece are W and D 15cm, and H 3.2cm.
