This unworn kimono was found in a relative's closet. The color and pattern were unusual, so I had it tailored to my size and also had it treated with Pearl Tone processing. The certification tag was missing, so the exact weaver is unknown. The texture and luster of the fabric are similar to that of white Oshima Tsumugi. Could it be an old Oshima? It might be an interesting fabric because it has a texture that is not often seen these days. So, this is a kimono that has been tailored. It's a kimono with Pearl Tone treatment and the original stitching still intact. Regardless of the origin, it's a kimono that you can enjoy the crisp texture of. I hope you will wear it. The color is a pale, grayish purple with white patterns. (Describing it in words.) From a distance, it looks like a pale, almost white, beautiful wisteria color. (This is a subjective impression.)
