This is an elegant, formal silk visiting kimono with a pale wisteria crepe background and a gray "tataki" dyeing technique. Photos 2-3 show a slightly different color appearance. Photos 7 and later are closer to the actual color. The pale purple base has a fine, irregular striped pattern, with a light gray color dyed to resemble scattered gold dust. The color appears to change depending on the light, with a subtle sheen. The hem and right sleeve feature a purple gradation. The patterns on the front and sleeves depict flower baskets and flowing water motifs in gold leaf and embroidery. This is a new, unworn item with basting stitches still attached.
