This is a vintage pendant light from Northern Europe (Denmark) that I purchased with the intention of installing it after the renovation of my apartment was completed.
I bought it from a specialty store in Meguro that deals in vintage Scandinavian furniture and miscellaneous goods. Due to work, I ended up moving and never used it, so it has been carefully stored and is a new, unused item since purchase.

This is a vintage pendant designed by Winding & Wright, manufactured by Kemp & Lauritzen of Denmark and Hadeland Glassverk, the oldest glass manufacturer in Norway, founded in 1762.
It is made using the "uchikise" glass technique, where light blue glass is layered and fused onto white glass. The light source shines on the inner white surface, so the color of the outer glass doesn't seem to affect the light when illuminated. It has a subtle and beautiful color, somewhere between a mellow, off-white blue and lavender. You can enjoy the color during the day, and the organic, teardrop-like form when the light is on. It would be suitable for use in a small space, such as an entrance, as well as hanging it symbolically above a dining table.
An electrician with a license has replaced all electrical components such as the socket, cord, and plug, and has also performed inspections based on the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law, displaying the PSE mark, so you can use it with confidence, just like a new item.
