I purchased this at an antique shop as a deadstock item. It was unused, but there were scratches on the back from the beginning. Although the surface was clean initially, there are now many scratches, possibly due to my poor storage. The area circled in the sixth photo has some discoloration, the cause of which is unknown, possibly from color transfer or a chemical reaction. The photos don't quite capture the condition, but it's not great. However, it should be fine for everyday use. I washed it after purchasing and displayed it on a shelf, but I haven't actually used it. Please understand that I'm not listing it as unused. I'm selling it at a lower price than I purchased it for. The accompanying pick fork is Martian by Sato Shoji, which also handles Sori Yanagi cutlery.
