It was stored in a room with humidity control. The tone circuit has been removed and replaced with a Bourns high-friction pot. I think the neck is sturdy. It has remained straight since I bought it. The string height is set low for easy playing, and the frets have about 80% life left. It is fundamentally different from those made by mixing powder with resin or impregnating laminated wood with resin.
