Gyuto knife, blade length 18.1cm, 136g. The spine is about 1.9mm thick near the top of the heel. It's a right-handed single-edged blade, but the material is carbon steel. I don't think it rusts easily, but blade oil is essential. The handle shows wear, and the fasteners are recessed. There were also some slight gaps, so I filled them with putty and then applied paint. There are no problems with use, and it seems like it will last for quite a while. I sharpened it thoroughly, put an edge on it, and polished it.
