This is a coaster made from scraps of vintage Kantha quilts (also known as Ralli quilts). It is handmade with hand stitching. The back is patchwork. Some parts use Kurume Kasuri fabric. This is a handmade item by an amateur. Please understand that the thread treatment and sewing may not be perfect, and we appreciate your purchase if you understand handmade items. Since it is sewn according to the Kantha quilt scraps, it is not square. It is finished by hand stitching, so we would be grateful if you could enjoy the rustic atmosphere. We welcome bulk requests. About Kantha Quilts: Kantha is a type of embroidery cloth that has been traditionally made in the Bengal region of eastern India. The cloth is reused, so the colors and patterns are different for each piece, and the fading and the areas that fade are also different, so no two are exactly alike. They have a beauty like a painting. Due to the characteristics of Kantha quilts, please understand that there may be fraying or loosening of the embroidery and fibers, the possibility of color fading, stains, and holes.
