Classic Guitar Hashimoto Guitar No. 236 (Maruha Guitar), made in 1968, a rare Japan vintage item for sale. Hashimoto Guitar (Maruha Guitar) was founded by Fumio Hashimoto. Mr. Hashimoto developed a new type of fighter plane in Fukuoka during the war, and developed a high-performance fighter plane called Shinden, but the war ended soon after. After that, he established Maruha 〇 (with an "eight" shaped "〇") Hachihachi Gakki Seizo-sho in Fukuoka. The brand Hashimoto is also made by Maruha. In Japan, in the 1970s, various brand manufacturers competed to manufacture guitars, riding the folk boom. Currently, there are only a few manufacturers producing in Japan, and they seem to be very expensive. This guitar is plywood, but I believe it is a valuable item made with good materials and the best craftsmen of the time. Although it is plywood, it is a model with a unique tone and a sound balance of volume. The frets remain about 80%, and although there is a general feeling of use, the head and pegs are also clean. The neck has a slight forward bow, and the string height is about 2.5mm for the 1st string and about 2.8mm for the 6th string at the 5th fret, and about 4.2mm for the 1st string and about 4.4mm for the 6th string at the 12th fret, with no buzzing or dead notes. The nut width of the neck is 49mm, and the string length is about 652mm. The bridge saddle protrusion is 1.5mm for the 1st string and 2mm for the 6th string. The top has bearclaw figuring, which is said to produce good sound, and there are a few shallow dents. The side and back plates have fine scratches, but are clean. There are about three small, shallow dents on the back of the neck, but they are clean. In addition, since it is a guitar over 50 years old, there are small scratches that are not visible overall, but the condition of the guitar is good.
