This is a personal item belonging to my husband, who is an architect. It is an exhibition catalog for "Japan Architects 1945-2010," jointly hosted by the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris, held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa from November 1, 2014 to March 15, 2015. The exhibition, with Frédéric Migayrou, Deputy Director of the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris, as the general commissioner, showcased approximately 250 valuable materials, including original drawings and models of works by about 100 architects who have shaped the history of Japanese architecture from the post-war period to the present day. It also included works from the collection of the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris, which are rarely seen in Japan. This catalog divides the 65 years from 1945 to 2010 into six sections, presenting the exhibited materials along with completion photographs and explanatory texts. As unique content, it also features newly written essays by Frédéric Migayrou, Arata Isozaki, Minoru Ueda, and Sohei Imamura. It is a highly archival volume.
