This is Delftware from the Netherlands. It dates back to the 1630s of the 17th century, which is said to be the early Edo period in Japan. This type of Delftware sometimes has a foot like Japanese plates, but the one I'm offering has a base similar to a go-ke (a container for go stones). There are repairs due to aging, but personally, considering the passage of time, I think it's acceptable, given that it didn't break into pieces. This item was passed down to me from someone who purchased it in the Netherlands. The size is approximately 30 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height.
