This pedal is based on the Ibanez TS808DX and combines overdrive and booster functions. (Product Details Below) Overdrive + Boost Function Overdrive and Boost can be used both together or separately. Overdrive is used to emphasize distortion by connecting it before an amp or other distortion effects, or to create a distortion sound on its own. Boost provides up to 20dB of boost. The Boost switch can be switched between "Post" and "Pre", allowing you to adjust the sound character by applying boost before or after the Overdrive. Equipped with a JRC4558D IC, it reproduces the soft and delicate clipping sound characteristic of the original Tube Screamer.
