The lotus flower, which extends its stem from the dirty mud at the bottom of the pond (impurity) and blooms into a beautiful flower (purity), is likened to an ideal. In Buddhism, the lotus flower is a symbol of purity, wisdom, and compassion because it blooms beautifully without being stained by the mud. We, who are surrounded by earthly desires, also hope to realize the salvation of the Buddha and eventually become Buddhas with pure hearts. I created this in sympathy with this thought.
