Starring Bulle Ogier, known for "Cannes Man" and "Le Pont du Nord." Pink Floyd recorded the album "Obscured by Clouds" as the film's soundtrack. After the recording was completed, the band had a falling out with the film company, which led to the soundtrack album being released as "Obscured by Clouds" rather than "La Vallée." Consequently, the film was renamed "La Vallée (Obscured by Clouds)" upon its release. The actress credited as "Monique Giraudy" is actually a pseudonym for Miquette Giraudy.
