This skirt is a wine color, or perhaps Bordeaux, and made of a fairly sturdy fabric. The back has elastic, making it easy to wear. There's a slight sheen around the waist area from ironing, but it's not very noticeable when worn. I don't mind it, but please be aware that individual sensitivities may vary.
