This is an authentic item. I purchased it online. One of the pointed parts of the chain is missing from the initial design. Other than that, I don't think there are any issues. I liked both of them and wore them, so there is a feeling of wear. There are also some stiff areas. Otherwise, I don't think there are any noticeable scratches, stains, tears, or snags, but this is based on a personal inspection and storage, so there may be oversights.
