This is the Guyatone LG-65T, said to be the best-selling model in the bizarre guitar category. It's a common sight, being the best seller, but the condition varies greatly depending on the individual. However, I think this one is usable. The electrical components appear to be fully original, and everything functions without any crackling or contact issues. Both the rocker switch and rhythm switch work perfectly. The tone control is originally reverse-wired. The shimmering tone of the single-coil pickups on the metal pickguard is irreplaceable. The ease of use of the 2-pickup configuration, the just-right size and easy-to-play shape, and the fact that the tremolo is actually usable (!) for this type of guitar make it easy to understand why it sold so well. The finish has some damage, which could be described as matte, but there are also some uneven spots. Also, only the headstock surface has been refinished. It's not too bad, but there are still some uneven spots. Aside from that, it's clean because it's been thoroughly disassembled and cleaned. Four peg bushings were missing, so I replaced them with ones from a Teisco of a similar vintage. The neck originally doesn't have a truss rod, but it's generally straight with a slight forward bow, and it plays normally without any dead spots. How about it as a practical bizarre guitar?
