This is a large furoshiki (wrapping cloth) from Kirimi, featuring a solid maroon upper section and a floral design on the lower section. While there are no accompanying certificates, it was purchased over 30 years ago at the Mitsukoshi department store during the Showa era. It has been cleaned, but there is some slight color variation in the solid maroon section. Otherwise, the condition is relatively good. It appears to have been used either very little or not at all. Recommended for those who love Japanese patterns, or are looking for Showa-era antiques, crafts, and art pieces. It could also be used as a rug or noren (curtain). It will be shipped folded.
