This is a leather tsuba (handguard) for a Kenmitsu wooden sword used in Kendo. It is a set of two, one for a large sword (daito) and one for a small sword (shoto). I am selling these as I no longer have the opportunity to use them. The thickness of both is approximately 5mm. The size of the holes is as follows (measured at the widest point): Daito (large sword): Length approx. 3.7mm, Width approx. 2.6mm Shoto (small sword): Length approx. 3.5mm, Width approx. 2.4mm Kenmitsu brand is considered rare.
