It came out during a move. It has a slide-type hard case. It was stored with the lid on, so the buttons inside are very clean and free of dust. However, there is a mark left from a label maker (see image 3), so if you are concerned, you can simply apply a similar label over it. This item has been stored at home for a long time. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to this. There is no instruction manual.
