This is a commemorative item that my father, who was in the navy, cherished. It's a silver-plated, iron helmet-shaped dish, 16.5 cm tall and 20 cm wide. The inscription "China Incident Service Commemoration" and "Yokosuka Naval District, Showa 14" are written from right to left. It's housed in a paulownia wood box that is 19.4 cm long, 20 cm wide, and 3.7 cm high.
