1950s French Army M47, early model, straight silhouette. Purchased as deadstock from the vintage clothing store tidemark in Fukuoka. The button on the left hem was missing from the time of purchase, as seen in images 10 and 11. Since it was purchased as deadstock, the condition is quite good except for the missing button. Famous for being worn by Masaki Suda on Kohaku Uta Gassen and by Hikaru Utada in the Automatic music video. Also known for being worn inside-out in a Margiela show. The color is greenish, but closer to brown. Please refer to image 12, which compares the color with other military pants I own.
