This is a long bag for a medium-neck shamisen, a thin-neck shamisen, or a jiuta shamisen. It was made using black formal kimono fabric that had been stored for a long time without being sewn. It has a slightly retro feel. The pattern is unique for a black formal kimono. As shown in the last image, there are creases from folding, but they are not severe. The lining is made of the same kimono fabric. There is a "ishimochi" (white circle for placing a crest) in a place that is not easily visible. The outer and inner fabrics are 100% silk.
