I don't think many Martin enthusiasts even know about this guitar. I myself have only seen this specific instrument with these specifications, including on auctions. Considering that many are bought from overseas and brought into the Japanese market, it's highly likely that you won't see another one like it (I'm not exaggerating; it's practically a phantom at this point). The top, sides, and back are made of the unique wood Ovangkol. Ovangkol has the sound projection of mahogany and the richness of rosewood, combining the best of both materials. Being a member of the legume family, it feels closer to rosewood when playing. Features include forward-shifted scalloped bracing, a 44.5mm wide neck, tortoiseshell binding (also on the heel), a genuine mahogany neck, closed-back tuners, a gold foil logo, white dot inlays, a gloss top, a Granadillo headplate, antique white binding, and a multi-ring rosette. The specifications are unlike any other guitar, which will satisfy your desire to own it. The neck block is marked "SPECIAL." Like the current style 16, it's a dreadnought but with the same thin body as a 000. This makes it very easy to play, and it has a responsiveness that you don't find in dreadnoughts. The frets show little wear, with the most worn frets at about 70-80% remaining. The string height is adjusted to about 2.3mm on the 6th string side. There is a slight drop-off in the high frets due to the reset, but it's within an acceptable range. There is, of course, no buzzing during strumming. Therefore, I believe the overall playability is at its best. All parts are original except for the nut and saddle. Also, since it's an acoustic-electric, it comes with strap pins from the start. The system is MATRIX VT Enhance. I will also include batteries. The basic condition is excellent. It will be shipped in a dedicated Martin semi-hard case.
