It's a ligature that can be used not only for regular clarinets and alto saxophones, but also for E-flat clarinets and bass clarinets. I purchased it new two years ago and used it a few times on a bass clarinet. Compared to the standard screw-type Ligaphone ligatures, it had a higher density and a responsive feel when playing. It's a valuable model because it's pink gold. The cap is not included. The stain on the upper left of the engraving was there from when I bought it new. Thank you for your consideration.
