It is also known as a koga or gosu/goshi. In the tea ceremony, it is used in conjunction with an incense burner. In the charcoal procedure of a tea gathering, it is an important utensil that guests request to view from the host. For a furo (portable brazier): kneaded incense (neriko) is placed inside, and a ceramic incense container is used. This is to prevent the lacquerware from being damaged by the moisture of the kneaded incense. For a ro (sunken hearth): corner-cut incense wood (koboku) is placed inside, and a lacquerware incense container made of karaki wood or bamboo is used. I am also selling other tea utensils.
