This is a rare and exciting Meisen collection with a bluish-purple color and cherry blossom patterns.
The Genroku sleeves are lovely.
It appears to be a re-sewn old Meisen, and there is one repaired hole on the left side of the back, near the sleeve attachment point (see photo 11).
There is a slight stain on the cotton lining.
With the basting threads still attached, it's in a beautiful condition without any stains when worn.
