I practiced numbers 1 and 5, so there are a few pencil markings, but I erased them as much as possible, so it's almost unused and doesn't feel worn. I think it's a great deal for those who don't mind. The cover, back cover, and inside pages are very clean, so you should be able to use it without any problems for reading the music, practicing, and performing, as shown in the photos.
