This is a vintage stationery item: Pentel F Watercolour G 12 Colors Thick Tube WFG-12 SK. I am selling it as I am organizing my collection. As it has been stored for a long time, the outer box has age-related scratches, dirt, and fading. The paint itself is in aluminum tubes, but the tubes have dents. Approximately half of the paints have solidified, and the other half are in the process of solidifying. [Brand] Pentel [Condition] Slightly scratched and dirty [Contents] 12 color set Reasons why this is vintage stationery: ★ Pentel F Watercolour G 12 Colors Thick Tube is an original G (gouache) from that era, unlike the current product. ★ Unlike the current product (laminate tube), the thick tube is a heavy 12cc aluminum tube. ★ Unlike the current product, it has an aluminum tube and the large F design is eye-catching. ★ The "Pentel Co., Ltd." on the inside of the lid is from the very early days after the company name change from Dai-Nippon Stationery in 1971, making this a valuable set with historical added value, identifiable as a 1971 product. This is a rare item from that era, in this condition after 55 years. ★ It has the JIS mark, and WFG-12 SK was a top model at the time. ★ The part on the upper lid that you lift with your left hand is V-shaped, forming a finger grip (notch). Since half of the paints have solidified, the tubes are prone to cracking and are deteriorated. It has rare value as a historical document of stationery and as a vintage stationery collection, rather than for practical use. Of course, as it is watercolour paint, the solidified paint can be used by dissolving it in water. I would like to pass this rare vintage stationery item on to someone who understands its value.
