This is a tsumami zaiku (folded fabric) hair ornament. It's a gorgeous hair accessory featuring a large off-white dahlia with gold small flowers. It can be used for various occasions such as coming-of-age ceremonies, weddings, graduations, and Shichi-Go-San (a traditional Japanese festival for children).
