These are palillos (castanets) made by Castanuelas del Sur. I purchased them in Spain several years ago. I used them for about a year, and then stored them at home. The sound is a somewhat low-pitched and deep. They are light and very easy to handle. As shown in the 7th photo, the decoration on the top is slightly chipped. There is no problem with the sound.
