I only attached a reel and tested the tension with a Nekosogi lure. Personally, I think it can handle weights significantly heavier than the listed specifications. I think it can handle a k9 lure as well (subjective opinion). I bought it, but realized I already had something similar, so I haven't used it and it's been standing unused. I was planning to use it, so I removed the shrink film from the grip end only. Thank you.
