Richard Ginori products sometimes include B-grade items sold at outlets, but rest assured, this item was purchased by myself at a directly-managed store, so there is no issue with the acquisition route. Used only twice, when guests visited. Upon close inspection, there are no significant flaws such as cracks, chips, or crazing, but there is some blackening on the bottom. The gold trim has been regularly maintained, so there is no peeling, but there may be some fading due to aging compared to when it was purchased. Also, this is from the manufacturing process, but there is a 5mm area where the coating on the gold trim near the bottom of the teapot is missing, and there is a blue color spot inside the creamer handle (Image 10).
