It has been about 50 years since it was published. My father loved the hot springs of Hakone, so he collected and enjoyed reading materials related to Hakone's hot springs. Written in 1811 (Bunka 8), this "Shichiyu no Shiori" seems to have been a representative guidebook for the hot springs of Hakone. It seems to be a valuable resource for understanding the history of Hakone, including the conditions of the hot springs at the time, as well as the natural activities and movements of people in Hakone. Condition: Because it was a thin booklet, it has been mixed with other books, and has been handled roughly by family members, so there is damage. The change in paper color due to aging is noticeable. There are scratches and fading on the entire cover. There is a cut of about 3.0 cm near the binding on the center right of the cover (photo 16). It also affects the endpapers. The back cover has what appears to be water damage (photo 17), which affects several pages, and the paper is warped. There are stains on the edges and top/bottom.
