I bought this at a wholesale sale in Kyoto as a "defective" item. The reasons for the defect were that it had a family crest and was already sewn. I couldn't get more details, but it seems it never reached a customer. The basting threads are still in place. It's a hi-yoku (double-layered) construction, with five family crests, a "maru ni sagari fuji" (wisteria in a circle) crest. I was told that this crest is suitable for any woman, so I bought it with the intention of having it altered. I unpicked a little at the okumi (front panel), okumi attachment, and side seams in photos 7, 8, and 9. However, I haven't made much progress, and I haven't had the opportunity to wear it, so I'm offering it to someone who appreciates it. There are some fold creases.
